What Are the Major Phrases on the Minds of the 08 Presidential Candidates?
Word clouds are visual depictions of frequently used words or phrases. They illustrate major concepts or themes visually. To create this visualization, major speeches from each major candidate were captured and loaded into Tableau. Then we looked at phrases of various lengths and number of times used to create word clouds. This set of visualizations shows speechs from Clinton, Obama, McCain and Romney. Note that all candidates call on patrioic themes, including word-phrases like "American" and "country".
