See the total ice coverage decline since 1950
Ice thickness data since 1950 shows ice coverage in decline. Although the changes are subtle, there is a clear and obvious pattern that may not have been apparent through a more traditional data-table. Note that in the Northern Hemisphere, the data points below the lower quartile continue to drop lower and lower over time.
